Available Meltano Data
Extracts operational metadata from the Meltano system database, including pipeline run history (runs/job), Singer state snapshots, plugin configuration (plugin_settings), OAuth credential records, users and RBAC mappings (user, role, role_permissions, roles_users), subscriptions, embed tokens, and database migration version. This enables analysis of pipeline reliability and performance (run outcomes, durations, failure trends), configuration auditing and drift, access control and user activity oversight, and environment/state lineage across orchestrations.
Pipeline Run
Represents individual Meltano pipeline executions, including status, timings, and associated job; enables analysis of reliability and performance such as success rates, runtimes, failure trends, and SLA attainment.
Job
Defines scheduled or ad-hoc orchestration units that group runs; supports analysis of job health, schedule adherence, run frequency, and per-job failure hotspots.
State Snapshot
Captures Singer state checkpoints per stream and environment; used to measure data freshness, last successful sync positions, lag, and lineage across orchestrations.
Plugin Configuration
Stores configuration for extractors, loaders, and transformers; enables configuration auditing, drift detection across environments, and impact analysis of config changes on run outcomes.
Access Control
Models users, roles, and permission mappings; supports governance metrics like privileged access counts, segregation-of-duties checks, and audits of role changes over time.
Credential
Holds OAuth credentials for connectors; enables security posture monitoring such as credential age, expiry risk, and correlation between credential issues and pipeline failures.
Subscription
Represents notification and alert subscriptions; supports analysis of alert coverage and alignment of alerts with critical jobs and owners.
Embed Token
Contains tokens used for embedded analytics access; enables oversight of embed footprint, token expiry risk, and mapping tokens to consumers or applications.
Authentication Required
Connects using a database connection string (SQLAlchemy URI); for the default local SQLite database, no login is required
