Fauna is a serverless document-relational database accessed via API. The connector syncs documents from a user-specified collection as a single configurable stream, so the data it provides is whatever application records the team stores in Fauna rather than a fixed schema.
The full set of documents from a chosen Fauna collection, each with a unique ref, last-modified timestamp (ts), and an arbitrary JSON data payload. This is the connector's single stream and carries whatever application records a team stores in Fauna — users, orders, content, events, or any custom entity — enabling analytics over the operational state of an application.
Incremental change records derived from Fauna's index over the ts field, capturing documents modified since the last sync. Powers freshness analyses, change-over-time tracking, and keeping a warehouse copy of application data current.
Deletion records produced from Fauna's events API when deletion mode is enabled, marking documents with a "deleted at" timestamp. Lets downstream models reconcile removed records and maintain accurate point-in-time and lifecycle reporting on application entities.
Authenticate Fauna in a few clicks. OAuth, API key, or IAM role — we handle secrets and rotation.
We pull every stream into your warehouse. CDC where the API supports it; full + incremental otherwise. Hourly-or-faster, row-level secure.
SQL, dashboards, or ask Fi in plain English. Your Fauna data lives next to every other source — ready to join.
We'll set up a live sync and answer your first questions — on the call.
Build your own with the Definite SDK, or request it. Most go live in days.
Join Fauna with the rest of your data, then ask Fi questions across all of it.
